Technical Description
A Industrial Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD) is a highly efficient drying system in which wet solids are fluidized by a controlled upward flow of heated air. The material is suspended in the air stream, creating an intimate contact between hot air and product particles, resulting in rapid and uniform moisture removal. The system ensures excellent heat and mass transfer with precise control over drying parameters. Fluid Bed Dryers are designed for continuous or batch operation and are suitable for free-flowing powders and granular materials.
Used For
Drying of wet granules and powders
Post-granulation drying operations
Moisture reduction in crystalline and particulate solids
Uniform drying of heat-sensitive materials
Integration with granulation and cooling processes
Industrial Fluid Bed Dryer
A dedicated trial facility is available to conduct drying trials on customer materials using the Fluid Bed Dryer. The facility enables process evaluation, parameter optimization, and performance validation under controlled operating conditions. Trial results assist in equipment selection, capacity finalization, and scale-up to full industrial systems, reducing process risk before commercial implementation.
